SEPT
SEPT is the first fashion personalization platform launched by Bahraini entrepreneur Yara AlDhaen. Using algorithms to tailor style and shopping preferences, SEPT fundamentally redefines the way customers shop. Based on swiping “ME” or “NOT ME” on the products, results are filtered and the “ME” items go directly into one’s personal feed. The platform is adaptive, meaning as a user swipes the algorithm re-ranks products in real-time. SEPT is building a personalized feed around each customer, similar to Spotify or Netflix, so the experience continues to get better with time. The idea behind this innovation was born out of the premises of women having ownership of their fashion choices. With women empowerment as its core value, SEPT aims to break the mold and redefines inclusivity as being one’s true self. Fashion is not only a powerful tool for self-expression, but a mean to have a woman step into her power, by just being herself.
